NIAS collaborates with school partners through the NIAS supported Advanced Learning Centres (ages 11-16 years). These centres run weekend classed for the gifted and talented from the neighbourhood areas. NIAS collaborates with Iyengar Foundation and National College Basavangudi through the NIAS, MAIYA PRODIGY Programme to identify and mentor the gifted and talented in the age group 16-18 years. NIAS collaborates actively at the National level with IISc, ICTS, IIT, Mumbai, NCBS, ISRO, INSA as part of their mentor data base platform.
