Debosree Banerjee is an applied microeconomist by training. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Gottingen, Germany. Debosree’s research interests are in the areas of Development Economics and Public Policy. Her current research examines the various aspects of development and inequalities in India. For her research, she has conducted extensive fieldwork in Indian states of West Bengal, Meghalaya and Karnataka.
